A sudden Reflection

I had time to properly stop and reflect today, this week was a pretty pack week.. The weekend however was more relaxing, eventhough I just came back from a Marathon this morning.. yup, The TERRY FOX CHARITY MARATHON.. Farah, Kamila,Kanmani and I went for the 5km run at Lakes Garden (shall blog abt it soon with pics I hope).. anyway, what I really wanted to blog about is How much I realize I actually miss about everything in Kuching.. little glimpse of the past.. the good and the bad.. I miss it all, I spend the rest of the afternoon, recoiling back to the past, times that I spend in school, times that I am with my sisters, times fooling around with friends.. ahhh.. looking back.. I cant help but smile and feel 'malu' at the same time.. I miss staying back after school with freinds for no reason at all, I miss that particular time in the evening when the sun shines the best towards the St. Joseph Church.. sitting around the church area, where the church bell would ring.. at 6:00pm i think.. (those who go to St.teresa and St. Jo would know what I mean) everything right there and then looks so serene, I miss being Invole in RED CRESCENT (yup, I do).. school politics not so much.. but yeah I still miss it, I miss doing my prefect duty.. walking around the school and the 'Uniform', I miss the hours we,my friends and I would spend on stage, dancing and practising for skits.. I miss Camps.. (the late night talks and showering in cold water), I miss having Nicknames for Teachers, I miss the sound of a school Bell, I miss wearing white shoes.. Now, dont get me wrong, Im not sad or anything.. I really am happy here, like I said it before, I feel like I never left st.3 with my new friends by my side.. but doing a bit of reflection once in a while keeps me happy and provides me a sence of hope in the future.. and also humbles me in away... so, friends, if you have time, try to look back.. you'll be amaze at how many new things you'll notice that you never notice before..

UK Immigration Officer: Purpose of visit?

Visitor: I'm here to study law, sir.
Officer: You know, you must have a lot of lawyers in Malaysia .
Visitor: Why do you say that?
Officer: Well, I've been here for a good twenty years, and I'd say80% of Malaysians I see here say they're here to read law.
Visitor: Oh, really? That's really something I never knew. Hard tobelieve in fact.
Officer: Just you watch, then. You just stand here until the nextMalaysian comes along, and I'll bet he's here to read law.
*Visitor waits for 5 mins, Ah Chong from Malaysia comes toimmigration counter*
Officer: Mr. Ah Chong, purpose of visit?
Ah Chong: Study lorr...

Take time to ponder

Take time to think, life is not so bad, happiness is a choice, I can say all these and yet it is still up to you to make the decision to change your mind set. I always wonder why? why do people take things for granted, how? how can they be able to go around and see nothing but depressing things around them. There have to be more to life, what are you living for?? Im not trying to sound like some kind of optimistic freak but honestly, yeah.. come on don't let what others so called think of you become a reality. Why settle with.. "so what if I am like that?" or " I've been brought up like that".. or worst still " Thats just how I am, why change? Im hopeless".. come on, Everyone wants to change the world but NO ONE wants to chnage THEMSELVES.. *selfish*.. If there is one think my sister and I agree is people love to talk, and many have selective hearing.. when both come hand in hand.. it can become deadly.. Gossips can arise out of tin air.. This people who loves to talk actually love to hear themselve talk, and the selective hearer only choose which 'news worthy' topic to go about spreading.. like little annoying insect they target the innocent.. so beware who you trust.. and be careful on what you say, these kind of people are always lurking around.. also dont easily trust, what people tell you, you might hear stories from them, but ask yourself, did you really hear it from the person itself? from the original source..
ps: I want to eat some cupcakes.. =) yumm...

A smart fool..

It takes a smart person to play the clown.
They have to come up with the right kind of joke at the right time.
They have to observe the person's mood.
The timing is vital for the ultimate effect.
This is to all my clown out there!
RESPECT!!
