The 5 major aspect in a student life includes Studies, Lect/Teachers, Funding, Food supplies, and Social Life.
Studies
A Students, is someone undergoing educational training.. (Duh..). Studies play an important role in a student's life. It is basically the reason why they are where they are in the first place (woah, try saying that fast). In this educatinal journey, getting the good grades is a priority (at least that is what all of us wants to believe) in a students life. It is something that can make or break you. Its very effect on a student can lead to from having a good day into a terrible day or vice versa. The grading system is more of a puzzle in a student life, its like playing a card game, a little % gain here, another % loss.. which will in the end ditermine the ultimate game known as FINALS (come to think of it.. naming it FINALS.. is abit mean)
Lect/ Teachers
Some call them mentors, these are people who said to be the one teaching/mentoring and lecturing the 'Students'. Play your cards right and these Teachers could be the one that helps make your life a lot easier. These lecture are usually categorize into 3 categories, the Lasser-fair, Participative and Authoritative.
Lasser-fair teachers usually lets you do things anyway you want. They sometime make you feel like that little 'homework' is not that imortant and they are usually Fun to be around. But be warned, as sometimes these are the lecturers who ends up marking you down for being too relax in class.
Participative Teachers, are the type that wants to be part of your life, they are always there if you need help and push you to do your best. The only down side of having these kind of lecturer is in the of the day, if you did bad for an assignment, it is usually YOU! who feels like you let them down.
Authoritative Teachers.. the name says it all. They are the strict makers, they dont believe in excuses and they seem like they are out to get you. (ermm... no comment for these kind of Teachers.. just do your homework and hand in assignments to survive).
Funding
If you are a student living abroad.. then this is a no joke aspect, No money= 0.. as in Zero nothing..! there is no word to describe it.. =)
Food Supplies
Every person I know, who is studying abroad, would agree with me on this.. INDO MEE. yes, if you are a student studying abroad, then you probably would have a stack of instant noodles in your pantry incase of any 'EMERGENCY'. Speaking of food, I should point out that, as a student living far away from home you would apprieciate the smaller things in life, LITERALLY, there is just no way for you to buy food just enough for one person, everything seems to be in family pack! Dont talk about bread, to buy one loaf, who would have to plan out how to gulf the whole loaf in a week, which in the end would lead to Toast for breakfast, Sandwhich for Lunch... and????? for Dinner???--- thus with this 'sharing is helping'...
Social Life
Usually starts from Friday evening untill sunday evening.. Going out with friends, hanging out.. plain old enjoying your free time.. during the weekends.. As for me a fellow student living abroad I have to admit, I am lacking in this area of expertise.. WHY??.. well friday nights for me is spend doing homework.. which brought me back to the statement that I made in Lit Class due to handing out an assignment early.. (Farah remember this) 'I have nothing better to do so I just do my homework'---> in plain english.. I have no social life.. (Ms Anne calls says it a blessing, that I have no Distraction) Its to the point where I have to schedule my time to do one homework or assignment at different time ONLY because I dont want to be bored from doing nothing.. =D haha.. like I said LACK of expertise.. so social life is still in the works.. however be assured I do have great friends here.. we just eat lunch alot.. haha..
