A whole new level of positive thinking..

I wanted to call this blog post 'Tachanism'.. but I fear for Rain's crazy girl fans out there sueing me for plagiarism..(they are scary like that)... haha, back to the post, One day while playing UNO Stacko with my sisters.. I found out that I have a whole new level for postive thinking.. went it was Lilian's turn the whole stack of Uno blocks already looked like it had reach its ultimate capacity to stay still, so with my very positive mind set I said...
" IT's going to FALL!, I am a positive Thinker, I am positive it is going to fall"
Another incident of 'Tachanism' is, when Adrian, ask me.. do you see the glass as half full, or half empty.. I answered
"As long as I know it is safe to drink, I am Happy"
.. He dub me as Over positive.. =D

My reason to live a good life

I am proud to say, I am one of those lucky few to have a wonderful relationship with my siblings. Ever since I could remember I have always been surrounded by sisters. The art of sharing and the power of influence have always been a part of my life. I am all kind of sisters.. I am a yonger sister, an older sister, I am a middle sister, I am a blood sister, I am the second sister.. (i better stop, or I'll sound like I am about to break into a Rap song.. Yo yo.. word!).. haha..

So for the Gawai holidays, God has given me the chance to really spend some bonding time with all my sisters.. Its amazing how we easily click, how we all could laugh at the same silly things and even have a meaningful conversation.. just so you know our ages range from 21-3 1/3 year olds.. haha.. yup!.. forget DNA or blood WE all have a special bond.. and a strong one too.

Manda- The oldest, The Boss.. The Leader.. I have known her for 20 1/2 years.. (i can hear you all go DUH').. haha.. just to make it sound cool la.. ok.. yeah, I can never imagine a life without her. She has always been there for me.. I mean always.. As the older sister I have seen her go through things that I know if it was me.. I would have run away, But Manda is never a quiter, She is strong, she always had the attitude of looking for a solution and not the problem. She has a way with words too, the way she writes makes u feel things that only a person who writes from the heart can bring out. I look up to her, and feel proud that she is my older sister, like I said I have seen her brake expectations, tumble down obstacles.. so when there are times where she 'turns human' is the hardest for me to see.. I hate seeing her cry.. I cant handle it.. but it made me realise strong people can break down too.. times like that I try to be her pillar, But nevertheless she has always came out stronger. there is also the other side of her that no many people have seen.. Her silly side.. the side of her trying to sing to Beyonce' s song and coming out of the bathroom and without fail asking 'Can you smell me?'.. haha.. silly, ever since we were young she has always been the commander of the pack, what ever she says goes.. she is also like a Manner school teacher to all four of us.. please and thank you, will always remind me of her.. she is the one to run to for hugs and late night talks.

Lilian- The 3rd sister.. but she would put it as.. My first younger sister.. haha.. silly, that revelation came to her one night. To me she is like 'Jughead' if u are a fan of Archie comic's you would undersatnd me.. This sister of mine can eat alot and never gain weight. I can honestly say that Lilian is not like any typical 15 year olds, instead of being a fan of Miley cyrus or the jonas brothers, she likes things that are unique eg:Pirates.. haha.. jks, but seriously , she doesnt comform into the normal pre-teen annoying- rebel- know it all and no- one- understands- me attitude.. if you know what I mean. haha.. she is loyal, and respectful. To me she live by the saying if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all, and because of that she doesn't gossip much. I as an older sister can proudly say that Lilian is someone who is very fortunate to be content with her herself and has high value at a young age.

Jasmine- 'Pendek'.. (althought, I think I dont have the right to call her that anymore) haha.. the Baby of the four, Jasmine is someone who I think everyone wants to be friends with. Always caring and sharing everything that she has.. it is always..'er.. ok la'.. with her. Jasmine is funny, especially with her friends.. like me she value her friendship with others.. She is also easily amuse (even my 10 cent jokes can make her burst out laughing).. but to me the best think about jasmine is that she is a very forgiving person, she is slow to anger.. Thats why I think she should be a nurse or a teacher..

Andrea- The oldest of the twins. The one with straight hair.. haha.. Andrea will be a school athelet one day. this girl has the energy that would put the energizer bunny to shame! haha.. Very smart, if you could hear her speak you would be amaze, she can string sentences that sounds like what an adult would say.. its so weird to hear a 3 1/3 year to tell you to 'wait first ok?'

Audrey- The baby.. The Boss..the one with curly hair.. Amanda the second..haha.. just like Manda, what ever she says goes, and also she is definately not a quitter, (she was very determine to catch all the ducks in the park that she ended up shooing them all away haha) and also like Lilian she has one of the best appetie that any mother would be proud of. Everyone likes to see Audrey eat it makes you happy to see her happy..

Definition of cool

I remembered in socio class, our Lecture said the word 'cool' has lost its true value espcially in this generation. To certify someone as 'cool' was like the ultimate praise anyone could receive back then, now the word 'cool' is used so losely.. so how do you define someone cool?.. the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word 'cool' is someone, wearing sunglasses, looking all confident.. and riding a bike.. Haha.. (dont laugh.. Bet u are thingking of it too).. well, looking back at some definition.. it's someone who is not afraid to be themselve, someone who is able to keep a level head in times of crisis, someone who stands for what they believe in, admits their weakness yet has the attitude of a teachable heart, a sense of positive confidents in them, that builds trust in anyone who comes near them and someone who is daring enough to take risk. Simply said, to me 'Cool' people are usually those who is not settled with just fitting in.. but they are the ones that dare to stand out for good or bad.. so from now onwards, the word 'cool' will be used to show my highest act of respect to anyone who I believe qualified to be known as one.. =D.
Ps: Apple here is your update! look! there is even a pic of me! not one but 4!!!...I have a new handphone.. Thanks one 'cool' person..

All this while you were there...

I didnt even notice.. sorry. Last tuesday I went for a conference called worship central, it was lead by Tim hughes and Al Gordon.. quote" Passion needs Courage".. truer words were never spoken.. sometime its not passion thats lacking.. its courage.. the courage to look at your comfortable life and denying yourself, every selfish desire, arrogant reflection, chains of the past that is holding you down.. giving every brokeness to HIM, the only one who can lovingly make you whole again.. I struggled..
Intellectualism gets the better of me.. sometimes I forget to stop and stand in awe of the wonders of Your works.. the ocean, the mountains and the complexity of Humans.. YOU made it all.. see what I mean by being factual?..I just listed out the things that you can see only with your eyes.. even though You made all those.. yet, what made me realise your presence is that, our relationship is not just the standard Creator and the Created.. yet, more like a Father and a Child.. for the first time that night I saw YOU smile.. it took me time to grasp that that You were actually always there for me in times of good, bad and boring... YOU see me when I am alone and with my friends, You know who I really am.. You cheered for me, You cried with me.. I finally understood, all this while praying.. I didnt know how differently I thought of YOU untill that night..who before now, only saw you as a first aid kid, only running to You in troubled times.. sorry... with this new revelation.. I want to honour You and make You Proud.. now, that I can see You clearly..

I dont want!!!!

The picture so cute however, I purposely chose this to ease the intensity of the post. Let me ask you a question how many of you out there hate.. wait hate is to harsh of a word.. ok, dislike Stubborn people?.. ohw yeah.. EVERYONE.. they just make life hard.. people who just wont give in to things and always wanting things to be done their way.. like a Baby.. BUT my focus is more on the adults? how are we to respect them if they are the one acting like a selfish child?.. we are advice to respect the older generation but what if they are the one that is making it hard?..Well we just do it anyway, by the philosophy "if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all".. sigh.. Yes, I understand the whole concept of respecting your elders.. especially in our Asian culture which is a good thing of course.. but again.. I think this is another reminder to me, that when it is my turn to be 'THE OLDER GENERATION'.. that I wont be a stubborn bull and I pray that I would master the skill of a humble heart that is still eager to learn even if its from the new generation. REMEMBER YOU NEVER STOP LEARNING.. yes... no matter how many degrees you got..
