and the greatest of these is. LOVE.. Part 1

Whoever does not Love does not know God, because God is love (1 John 4:8). Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together (Col 3:14). Most important of all, continue to show deep love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). Three things will continue forever: Faith, Hope and Love. And the greatest of these is Love (1 Cor 13:13). We must show Love through actions that are sincere, not through empty words (1 John 3: 18). The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. No matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without Love (1 Cor 13:3). Whenever you can, do good to those who need it. Never tell your neighbour to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now (Prov 3:27-28).

I suddenly felt the inspiration to take a few Bible verses about love and stringing them into a paragraph that would, what I would like to see as why, how and when we should Love.

Facebook- the most contagious sickness since the Flu

Wah.. that is one long tittle.. =) anyway, I am sure most of you will agree with me. Can you remember the days without facebook.. wait.. how about the days Before Google .. (BG).. haha.. life was.. more peaceful.. hahaha.. yeah.. trully it was..

* I am not here to talk about the badside of facebook, or the effects on it.. there is already alot of news report and blogpost about this issue.. however I do want to justify that it is a good means of communication after the telepnone hahaha..

The reason why I suddenly want to write about this because my youngest sister (no name mention) has a facebook account. wait wait I know what you guys are thingking.. what an irresponsible thing to do! to let a child (12 years old) have an account, well to my defense, I have friends of a friend who made a facebook account for their child who is only 5 months old..yes people.. now that is... INTERESTING.. haha.. and in his account, all his family members are his 'friends'.. come to think about it, it is sweet.. imagine when he grows up, and lets say all his friends accumilate, WOW.. that makes keeping in touch to a whole new level ( I knew you since you where born.. literally) hahah

I guess it is an ok thing if you know how to use it for the right reason and you keep a look out on the privacy mode and all. Just make sure you dont post up any personal infomation about yourself that could bring danger. Plus without a doubt it is good way to keep in touch with friends and family. I am looking in the family perspective here, where uncles and aunties, grandma and granpa can all exchange photos and silly comments.. I know some people are uncomfortable with this idea, because some say that whatever happens on facebook is their business and I respect that, and yes I am also aware of the 'Block button' where you can choose who is allowed to see your pictures and comment..(see its not all that bad)..and I have been noticing a trend now where people are making family trees where you are able to communicate with family members from all over..another good thing about facebook it has the ability loosen up the hasel of imforming invited guess of up dates to certain events i.e: birthday party location, the new time of a certain event, concert and even meeting.. which I think is a really cool thing

Actully I have nothing much to say.. haha.. just amaze at how fast the technology is growing...yeah.. so how many of you have your family on your facebook? .. The 'IN' thing now also is 'twitter' ( where people write updates on what they are up to EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF THEIR LIFE).. (actually it already is).. even Obama and (some say OSAMA) has one.. haha.. I think if the government wants to know what is up with the world.. they should have a facebook and twitter account.. hahaha.. imagine this happening on Obama and Osama twettering page.

Math

haha.. have you ever wanted to do this for a math test?.. I feel like this mathematical question is a representation on life itself.. We are always looking for 'X' and we try all soughts of ways to find it when sometimes it is just in front of our eyes.. But then again, by just pointing it out and not proving HOW you find it can still make you unsatisfied, and that is why getting the right equation is important.. 'x' could be anything, what is definate is in order to find it you must learn How. It could be any set of Goals in your life.. (it could be who you want to be,or what you want to do in life) so think about it..what is your 'X' factor??.. (I sound like Im marketing math.. Come join Math 101..) haha..

Have you ever, think of your 'would' have, 'should' have and 'could' have moments?

Things would have been a different if I continued on.. I should have told my mum that, that one thing in my life I did not want to give up just because everything else has to change... I could have been.... a Ballerina...

Regrets.. but was it even my fault? seeing as I was still young maybe I didnt showed enough passion .. So it is God's plan then?.. sometimes I feel skill-less, or talent-less.. whilst other kids have piano lessons, or karate lessons to be proud of.. I could have been going for my ballet classes.

Sometimes I feel like I was rob of my chances.. now the tutu and the ballet shoes in the dressing room will always be a size too small for me..

The Lost art of strolling..

Definition: To walk along or through at a leisurely pace.

I was reading an article on how the modern society has lost the art of 'strolling', I coundn't agree more. In uni everyday, I am surrounded by people walking toward different places, people who have classes to go to, assignments to hand in, presentation that need preparing.. everywhere is rush here, rush there.. As I continued on reading, I was amused when I read about a guy in a bussines suit strolling on the busy streets of New york, the writer wrote, the guy had a smile on his face and his hands in his pocket walking slowly, the writer explain that it was something very new to him because this guy looked almost lost like he did not fit into the picture of the rushing zombies.. 'going against the flow' I would put. Call me weird but I laughed when I was reading that particular part of the article.. How I wish I was there to see 'that guy'.

Why is it a lost art? because many years ago, looking into classical literatures and history books, notice many great inventors and artists get inspired by just strolling. Today everyone is walking with a GOal in mind, 'Get this done', 'have to do this first', 'what am I going to about this problem'.. very few, have time to just walk and letting our mind be free. The soul of strolling has something very special that this modern society has forgotten, that is to be at peace with one self and the world, To get away from 'the world' and just be inspired by everything around you.. Now, I fully understand the phares 'Take time to smell the roses'..

Its like a quiet time with God, I remembered Ps.Cheli telling us how sometimes its the hardest thing for a christian to do.. to just find a quiet time and let God speak to you.. praying is one thing but to be still and listening.. is a challenge to us all- the new generation.

So now, I have decided to start strolling, yes me -the can never sit still, always on go, and have so many places to go to tasha- I started one week ago, after class I would take the long route home, the rule.. NO RUSHING. it was hard at first because I had so many things in mind that I feel I needed to get done.. then I had to stop and retrace my thoughts, I laughed at myself for all the things I was thingking about. I coundn't belive how in just a few seconds my mind could jump to a list of chores and some was just silly.. example.. must be home by sun down (when it was just like 12 noon??) get homework done by 9'oclock because I want to watch tv??, or what to eat? if I cook this.. how about the veggie? the meat? .. or should I shower 1st or do homework? .. why am I walking so slow??.. =).. told you they were silly.. but so far its getting better.. and I walk slow even in the rain, .. a thought came to me from the Bible.. 'Let tommorrow worry for itself'.. see even God is asking to us chillax.. so I challege you all, yes! you the 'BUSY' one.. to start strolling.. you never know, what you will see and hopefully it will help you to feel more inspired in whatever you do..
